Eligibility Criteria:

As per the Council of Architecture (Minimum Standards of Architectural Education) Regulations, 2020:

No Candidates shall be admitted to architecture course unless he/she passed an examination at the end of the 10 + 2 scheme (i.e., 12th Std or II-PUC) of examination, with a minimum eligibility score of at least 45%. Aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics also at least passed with a minimum score of 45% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 level examination or passed 10+3 Diploma examination with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with at least 50 % Marks in the aggregate.

Also, in either of the above cases in I, the candidate must have appeared and qualified in the aptitude test in architecture conducted either by NTA-(i.e., JEE) or NATA  conducted by the Council of Architecture.

Candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria I & II to be eligible for admission to the 1st year of the 5-year bachelor’s degree in Architecture Program for the academic session.

The eligibility criteria are subject to change in accordance with notifications issued by the relevant authorities such as the UGC, COA, and VTU. For the most current and accurate information, applicants are advised to refer to the respective official websites.


Important Instructions for B.Arch Admission under KEA Quota

Candidates seeking admission under this quota must register online through the KEA website, under the Architecture Counselling section. Once registered, candidates are advised to regularly check the KEA website for updates and announcements.

 To be eligible, candidates must have appeared for and qualified in an architecture aptitude test conducted either by the NTA (i.e., JEE Paper 2) or by the Council of Architecture (NATA).

 Note: As per existing rules, KEA will not conduct a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to the B.Arch (Architecture) course.

I. Candidates should have appeared for National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture.

Note: COMEDK will not be conducting any Common Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to B.Arch (Architecture Course) as per its existing rules.

Direct Admissions (Through Management Quota)

Counselling will be held from Monday to Friday from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
Please note that BMS Educational Trust Admission Office remains closed on Sundays,

Eligibility Criteria:

According to the regulation of the Council of Architecture (Minimum Standard of Architectural Education, Regulations 2020):

Eligibility for admission to B Plan Course shall be open to the students who have passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Standard Examination and secured a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate with Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with Physics / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer science / Information Technology / Technical Vocational Subjects / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship.

In case of SC, ST and OBC candidates, the minimum aggregate percentage shall be 40%. Candidates from Diploma streams shall not be entitled to any exemption of any subject at the B Plan degree course, hence there is no provisions for lateral entry to the course.

The candidates must have attended qualifying entrance examination (K-CET / COMEDK / JEE Paper 3/2B.)

Eligibility Criteria:

Admission to the first year of the course shall be open to the students, who have passed the two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by the Karnataka State Pre University Board (PUC)/C.B.S.E / ISC/NIOS/IGCSE/IB/ Boards of other Indian States with any combination of subjects (such as conventional Arts/ Commerce/Science).

The three-year Diploma in any branch as recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education shall also be eligible for admission.

The students who have done a D.Voc program in the same or allied sector are also eligible to take admission. However, these candidates should have obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate.

In case of Karnataka SC, ST, and OBC candidates, the minimum aggregate percentage shall be 40%.

Eligibility for M.Arch (Habitat Design) Admissions

Candidates should have 50% or more marks in Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent recognized by Council of Architecture, New Delhi.

Candidates should qualify in :

  • GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering).
  • PGETA (Postgraduate Entrance Test in Architecture conducted by COA).
