KENYA CONSERVATION PROGRAMME-2019
BMS College of Architecture is conducting a wildlife conservation programme for the students in July 2019 for a batch of 20 students in collaboration with Projects Abroad under UNAI(United Nations Academic Impact). The objective of this project is to aid the conservation of Kenya’s biodiversity through research and monitoring. Special emphasis is to research on the ecology of the Rothschild's giraffe as part of a link up with other reserves.
This is pioneering research that could determine the fate of this sub species, as well as the wider surrounding ecosystem. Students will also learn and experience the different aspects of Kenyan culture and the Maasai people.
