BMSCA Consultancy Cell has created a dynamic environment of interdisciplinary collaboration and innovation focused on issues concerning human habitats.
BMSCA Consultancy Cell undertakes design, research on socially responsible and advocacy projects in both public and private sectors. The cell engages in varying scales of Human Habitat, urban development projects and aspires to create a platform for an alternate perception of architectural design, landscape, Habitat design and development, conservation and governance within Bengaluru Metropolitan area and Karnataka.
The consultancy cell through its holistic approach relates architecture and Habitat design, addressing social ecological, and spatial dimensions.
This consultancy cell is co-ordinated by consultancy lead faculty name under the guidance of the BMSCA Director Dr. Mamatha P. Raj with a core team that includes our faculty team members have made available their academic knowledge and industry expertise to external stakeholders including the government public sector bodies, communities, and businesses. The team collaborates and scales up to include other experienced architects, urban designers and landscape architects as required for the projects. BMSCA consultancy cell being involved in advisory assignments and capacity building initiatives aimed at solving critical problems in the built environment and improving the quality of life in India’s towns and cities. BMSCA has handled individual and design competition projects of varying scales with governmental and non-governmental agencies. BMSCA consultancy cell also plays a central role in furthering internal and external communication, knowledge management and outreach.
