Practical Training: Two mandatory six-week internships after 4th and 6th semesters

Eligibility

Eligibility for admission to B Plan Course shall be open to the students who have passed in 2nd PUC / 12th Standard Examination and secured a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate with Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with Physics / Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer science / Information Technology / Technical Vocational Subjects / Agriculture / Engineering Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship.

In case of SC, ST and OBC candidates, the minimum aggregate percentage shall be 40%.Candidates from Diploma streams shall not be entitled to any exemption of any subject at the B Plan degree course, hence there is no provisions for lateral entry to the course.

The candidates must have attended qualifying entrance examination (K-CET / COMEDK / JEE Paper 3/2B.)

Kindly Note: Eligibility criteria for B. Plan admissions for AY 2026-27 is subject to the latest admission circulars & Regulation clauses as shall be released by Approval authorities.

Scheme and Syllabus

The scheme and syllabus for programs at BMS College of Architecture, Design & Planning (BMSCA D&P) are structured in accordance with the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) regulations. The curriculum encompasses a diverse range of subjects, including Physical Planning, Regional Planning, Housing, digital tools, professional practice, and elective courses that allow students to specialize in their areas of interest.
