Objective: As part of the activities under the Eco Niwas Samhita program, awareness sessions was conducted in BMS College of Architecture to impart detailed knowledge on the code and its practical application. Lead Consultancy and KPMG ltd in association with Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) and German development agency (GIZ) have established Eco-Niwas Samhita Cell with Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd. (KREDL) as the State Designated Agency (SDA)" to ensure adaptation, implementation, and enforcement of the code in the state ENS 2018 in the state of Karnataka.

A Two Day Seminar titled “RESPONSIVE HERITAGE INTERACTIONS” was held at BMSCA with an objective to initiate Interactions on Heritage Conservation by addressing various scales from Urban Planning and Management perspective, Built Heritage and Landscape Conservation.
The Seminar was exclusively for Faculty, Practicing Professionals and Students of Post-Graduation Program. The issues discussed included Urban Policy making to include Living heritage, economy generation in these areas to improve the living conditions of people. The discussions included Various tools and techniques, importance of use of GIS and Photogrammetry to document heritage sites.
The Sahapadia Collaborative had co-ordinated morning Heritage Walk in Basavanagudi precinct enriched the seminar.
